About

I'm Atiqullah Habib, a software engineer in Dhaka, Bangladesh with 4+ years building web and mobile products. I like taking responsibility for a real scope rather than a slice of one: the frontend, the apps, the APIs behind them and the servers they run on.

I started at Dcastalia on the frontend of e-commerce products for Bangladeshi brands, where I grew from supporting a senior developer into owning the whole web and mobile frontend at Pickaboo, including four payment integrations and the ticketing journey at Mana Bay.

At JB Connect the scope widened. I led a team of ten on Point Kikou, designing the architecture and implementing the frontend for three connected Japanese applications. I am now lead developer on the product family around BridgeBooks: MediaBridge, the media sites it publishes to, and the supporting products I proposed and built. Along the way I joined a delayed release at Blayn and shipped it, rebuilt the Deespot directory frontend, and configured reverse proxies across 50+ sites before teaching the Japan-based team to do it themselves.

I studied Computer Science at AIUB, graduating Magna Cum Laudewith five Dean's Awards.
